Enjoy the Washington DC Grand 2-Day Tour
The Washington DC Grand 2-Day Tour combines two of our most popular day tours: DC in a Day and Mount Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery.

Day 1: DC in a Day
Enjoy a guided tour of the U.S. Capitol Building and stop for a photo opportunity outside the White House. The White House Visitor Center will allow you to see and feel what the interior of the actual White House looks like.

Next, you'll get the chance to experience the beauty and grandeur of the World War II Memorial, which is located on the National Mall.

At the National Mall, you'll also see some of the most famous sights that this city has to offer, such as the Reflecting Pool and Lincoln Memorial. You'll have the chance to see the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Korean War Memorial, and Iwo Jima Memorial.

To top this tour off, you’ll also see a variety of sights from the comfort of our motor coach. Catch a glimpse of the FBI Building, National Archives, and famous Washington Monument.

Day 2: Mount Vernon & Arlington National Cemetery
On day 2 you'll visit George Washington's beloved plantation - Mount Vernon. Walk around the mansion and visit the Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center. Here you'll have time to find some lunch (not included).

After exploring Mount Vernon, you’ll continue to Arlington National Cemetery for the afternoon portion of the tour. Here you'll get a tour with the Arlington National Cemetery Tram and its guides, who will provide you with a look at the various memorials. Servicemen and women are still buried here daily, so the officials ask that tourists be respectful.

The cemetery is the home of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and visitors are permitted to view the Changing of the Guard, which is a solemn ceremony. Your tram will stop at several locations within the cemetery, and your time should permit you to get off once or twice.

The tram has six stops on weekdays and nine on weekends. We advise only getting off at the Kennedy Gravesite stop and Memorial Amphitheatre Stop (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Changing of the Guard) in order to have enough time to get back before our departure back.
